Well hats off to the Comox Club they were a bunch of troopers today i,m thinkin they had a pretty good time never did actually count them all but i think there was 10 or 12 all together , and they all worked hard to get through the trails ,the big water hole had no water just mud and deep ,one went through ,nasty stuff . Had 2 roll overs in the Nader trail no injurys , and one flat ,had to be my machine of course anyway was an all around good day, very disapionted with the C.R. crew absolutly a no show , what happened ?

time to build some new trails

Bender, Thanks for the lead and kudoos to the club for the nice job on the trails and great ride. One other incident was when we were heading out, my quad overheated again. I'll have to start going down the to do list to fix that maybe begining with a rad cap then perhaps a thermostat, any other suggestions. Nice to meet some of the folks from down island, Marv, Oly, Bonita, Loyd and the fam, Andy and a couple others I can't remember their names...sorry. Hope the members of rollover club are doing ok.

Duh well there,s so many peope try to remember everyones name evereyone talkin to me ,all goob though guess as time goes on i,ll remember names better ..ya i ,m not sure about that overheating problem , i think i would definitly pull that shrowd off and pressure wash the rad again , just whatch wich wand u use other than that maybe someone else might have a suggestion if that doesn,t work punch in Highlifter.com and log in , go to the Polaris site ,those guys will have all kinds of suggestions ...good luck.

hey voyager i'll bet if you took your rad out of the quad take the shroud off you'd see the mud is baked right in the cooling fins soak your rad lieing flat inlets up that will help to soften the goo then blow it out with air or a water hose you may have to repeat this cleaning method because the goo realy get's baked in there . also make your fan switch works and cycles ,I have never had to replace a thermostat besides they are around $40.00 . that's the tip of the day The Quadfather .

Thanks Bender, I took the shroud off and there wasn't much there, really hosed off the rad and now can appreciate how caked in that stuff can get so I'm also going to try the coil cleaner idea (thanks Quadfather). Hopefully that will solve the problem...but on the other hand I'm half hoping it will be a "quick fix" mechanical or electrical issue then I wouln't need to spend so much more time cleaning in the future Idea
